Foster, Barousse, Felty and Campbell Win SAGT NCFla Heathrow Tournament

Foster Wins In Sudden Death Playoff
            Heathrow, FLBill Foster won the inaugural tournament of the Senior Amateur Golf Tour of North Central Florida Monday (Feb. 21, 2011) on the first hole of a sudden death playoff with fellow Championship flight member Doug Savage.  Both Foster and Savage were tied at 74 after 18 holes at Heathrow Country Club event.
            Foster is a resident of Liberty Park in The Villages, FL.  Savage is a member of the Kentucky Senior Amateur Golf Tour and lives in Mt. Vernon, Ohio.  Dan Johnston also of The Villages shot a 76 for third place.          
            Larry Barousse, a member of the Orlando Tour and resident of Mt. Dora, shot 84 to take first place in the A Flight.  Wayne Morrison, Macclenny, FL, and Guy Laniel, from The Villages, both shot 85, with Morrison winning second in a score card playoff and Laniel placing third.
            Jerry Felty, a resident of Bridgeport in The Villages, took first place in the B Flight with an 87.  Jerry Smith, Spring Hill, FL, won second with a 90 and Phil Tremper, The Villages, placed third with a 93.
            Terry Campbell,  Brooksville, FL, placed first in the C Flight shooting a 93.  Second place was won by Joe Dunn, Ocala, FL, with a 97.  Mike Malloch, The Villages, took third place with a 104.
            Closest-to-the-Pin prizes went to Scott Gourley, DeLand, FL, Gary Illsley, The Villages, and Jerry Smith, Spring Hill, FL.
